Today’s workout is a challenging partner chipper that blends high-rep gymnastics, barbell stamina, and pacing strategy. Working through descending reps of 50-40-30-20-10, teams will tackle toes to bar, back squats from the floor, and bar-facing burpees. Athletes may split work however they choose, but only one partner works at a time, creating natural intervals of rest and pacing. The back squats, performed from the floor at 95/65lb, 43/30kg add a demanding barbell element that requires efficient power clean and a quick transition to the back rack to get the bar into position. Toes to bar will tax the grip and core, while bar-facing burpees challenge coordination and consistent effort across all rounds. Partners should communicate clearly, manage transitions efficiently, and aim for smart sets early to avoid burnout in the deeper rounds. Scaling options include hanging knee raises, reduced barbell weight, or step-over burpees based on ability and mobility.
