Have a great weekend!
• Coaching Brief & Class Overview
Today’s session is all about partner synergy and shared suffering. “Partners in Crime” blends heavy lifting, gymnastics, and isometric holds to challenge coordination, grip, and mental grit. While one athlete works through a demanding movement, the other must hold a static position, building core and midline endurance under fatigue. The deadlifts should be broken up early to avoid burnout, especially with the heavy barbell, and athletes should communicate transitions clearly. Wall walks will be the grind—ensure athletes have a plan to maintain quality handstand holds or scale appropriately to sustain integrity. The Burpee Bar Muscle-Ups at the end are shared—encourage quick singles with fast turnarounds to close strong. This is a workout where pacing and strategy matter more than racing out of the gate. Coach athletes to move well, hold steady, and support their partner to the finish.
